Fluid Clinical provides a unified clinical trial data collection and management platform. This policy covers two distinct contexts: this marketing website, and the Fluid Clinical platform used by research organizations. They involve very different data and very different roles.
When you browse this site we collect standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, user agent) used for security and capacity purposes. When you submit the contact form we collect the name, email, organization, and message you provide, and we use them solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Study data in the platform, including protected health information of research participants, is controlled by the research organizations and sponsors who run studies on it. Fluid Clinical processes that data on their behalf under written agreements (including business associate agreements where HIPAA applies) and under the study's informed consent. Participants with questions about their study data should contact their research site, which remains the data controller.
Platform account data (your name, work email, role, and authentication records) is used to operate the service, enforce access control, and meet regulatory audit trail requirements. Audit trail records required by 21 CFR Part 11 and GCP are retained for the regulatory retention period and cannot be erased on request, because regulation requires their preservation.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is role-based and deny-by-default, sessions lock automatically after inactivity, and every access to regulated records is audited. Details are on our Security & Compliance page.
You may request access to or deletion of the personal information we hold about you as a website visitor or platform account holder by contacting us, subject to the regulatory retention obligations described above. We honor applicable rights under GDPR and similar laws for the data where we act as controller.
